Healthy Aging: The #1 Exercise for Avoiding Falls

I want to share my recent video with a very important tip for healthy aging—

Don't fall.

In the video below, I share key data on the risks and consequences of falling for older adults.

It's bad news.

Falls are the #1 cause of injury and death from injury for adults 65+.

Each year, falls cause millions of broken bones and head injuries.

The consequences of falls include loss of independence, admission to nursing homes, and declining quality of life.

We don't want that!

But there's good news too.

Falls are not an inevitable result of aging.

The CDC and leading medical authorities agree: Falls are preventable.

Mainly through exercise.

In the video, I share the science supporting the #1 recommended exercise for preventing falls.

Research suggests many older adults are not aware of the risks and consequences of falling.
